Description
In Student led IEP meetings, the spotlight is on the most important person in the process: the student.
Students with IEPs attend their IEP meetings when it’s time for transition services, and that typically starts in middle school. But why aren’t we preparing our students for this when they are in elementary school? Why are they not involved sooner, and what about our students who are nonverbal or even moderately disabled? How can we get them involved, and what does it even look like?
Enter: Student Led IEP Meeting Toolkit. The only resource you need to get your students more involved in their learning and show the IEP Team (and most importantly the parents!) how much progress the child has made.

I cannot wait to implement this for my students this upcoming school year. It will be so helpful with getting them involved in their IEP process. The levels will help me differentiate for all of my students’ needs.

I purchased this product after a member of our ARD committee, asked me to have my student do a presentation during their ARD meeting. I LOVE how Mrs. D created various levels to meet the different needs of our students!! For this particular student, we used the picture responses and student led questions. The questions were a little confusing to assembly, but we glanced at how they were arranged on the higher level pages, and that helped us put things together. I will definitely be using this product again with my other students!!
