It’s my first year working with a para and I had no idea where to start or how to manage/work/guide my para. Also during preservice I realize that my para will need guidance and direction due to inexperience.
Wow, this was a super helpful place to start. It has a lot of great info, data and guidelines. I would love to see something about confidentiality and student privacy in there!

I teach a moderate to severe special day class for 5th- and 6th-grade students. This resource is excellent for making a binder with all the important information and expectations in one place. I plan to use it again this year, as I have brand-new staff this school year. I am very pleased with my purchase

The Para Binder for the Special Education Classroom has completely transformed how I onboard and support paraprofessionals in my special education classroom. This editable binder centralizes expectations, schedules, student snapshots, prompting hierarchies, IEP “at-a-glance” pages, and more—all in one organized system. From day one, my paras appreciated having a single reference point for classroom rules, procedures, and individualized needs, even during sub coverage or when training new staff members.
Setting it up took some time, but the payoff has been enormous. Now, any support staff member can quickly access critical classroom information without interrupting instructional flow. The binder supports consistency, professionalism, and alignment across the team—and administration consistently commends my organization thanks to it. It’s more than just editable pages—it’s really a framework for establishing clarity, accountability, and strong para‑teacher collaboration.

This resource was exactly what I needed for my kindergarten classroom! It was easy to prep, engaging for my students, and aligned well with the standards. My kids especially loved the visuals and hands-on activities. It helped support differentiated learning and kept them actively involved. I’ll definitely be coming back to this seller for more resources. Thank you for creating something so useful and classroom-ready!

I decided to purchase this to make a binder for my paras. I had several new paraprofessional in my classroom this past year and will have a new one this upcoming school year. This is a great resource and it allows me to personalize and outline classroom para expectations, info about students and info about how my classroom is run. It’s also easier for the paras to have information all in one place.

I love this resource. I love to make a binder for each para. I include all the information they need about students, their schedules and anything you can think of. It is also good information when a para is out because I am able to hand the binder to their sub and they are able to go through it and see what their job is and what the exceptions are for them. I always leave pictures of the students so subs are able to know exactly who the students are.
